Seafarers hot topic at CHR’s National Congress August 30, 2011 “Human Rights must be everyone’s concern” as reiterated by Hon. Loretta Ann P. Rosales , Chairperson, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) The national congress was held at the Development Academy of the Philippines with the theme, “Human Rights Education: Changing Culture towards Peace and Good Governance” which was participated by different stakeholders and duty bearers on July 20-23, 2011. Duty bearers agreed to identify issues and address each with real reforms and meaningful changes. CHR aims to craft the operational training that would promote tangible ‘human rights’ result.
